Bob Kebic

Bob Kebic was born in Hamilton, Ontario in 1951. Bob demonstrated a deep interest in art, beginning at a very young age. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art, Bob’s career concentrated on editorial advertising spreads for global corporations. He then transitioned his talent towards his true heart felt passion - oil painting. While his paintings may be a nod to the Group of Seven, Bob represents his own unique appreciation of Canadian landscapes. Each colourful, textured layer of oil paint is carefully mixed and mastered, depicting natures crest of both beauty and invitation. Come closer, as each stroke invites a new appreciation. Bob has chosen not to identify his subjects with titles, choosing instead to identify his works numerically. In this way, he hopes the viewer will interpret his work through the lens of their own experience.
